Cleveland - At a press conference today the members of the iconic 60s band Buffalo Springfield will endorse Dennis Kucinich for the Democrat nomination for president. A source close to the band says that the members are endorsing Kucinich because of his opposition to the War in Iraq and the fact that Kucinich’s career is even deader than Buffalo Springfield’s.
Kucinich campaign officials are delighted by the endorsement and note with pride that the Cleveland politician leads the pack with all-but-forgotten-rock-bands-from-the-60s-now-playing-nostalgia-shows-in-Branson endorsements. In addition to Buffalo Springfield, Kucinich has received endorsements from Herman’s Hermits, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and Freddy and the Freeloaders.
In related news, a spokesman for the Wesley Clark campaign told Broken Newz this morning that the Tijuana Brass and the Baja Marimba Band are set to announce their endorsements later today of General Clark.
