 The
Nielsen Media Research company ratings show few surprises in the News
Anchor Masturbation Fantasy, Male 12-18 category. Topping the list
at a stellar 28% is Fox News' Laurie Dhue, up 2 % from the prior year.
Next on the list is Paula Zahn holding a solid 18%, and Ashleigh Banfield
at 11%. Still near the bottom but improving is Greta Van Sustern,
up from below 1% to a respectable 2% following her extensive plastic surgery.
Diane Sawyer remains at 4%, the same as last year. In a surprising
result, ABC's John Stossel drew 3%, up from less than 1% before he grew
the gay-looking mustache.
The latest ratings should prompt advertisers to target ads specifically
at this loyal demographic, with lotion, facial tissue, and acne medicine
advertising expected to displace cars and investment counseling as the
primary sponsors of several newscasts
