Bush Nominated C.I.A. Directory Porter Goss accepted a 5 million dollar advance last week from Simon & Schuster in return for rights to a ‘tell all’ book on Bush due 2007.
“I had a lot of offers coming in.” Said Goss. “Publishers were approaching me left and right.” Goss, who has yet to acquire any material for his book, hopes to begin writing in 2005.
“I am sure I will have lots to write about. I should know everything if I am the director of an intelligence collecting agency. Wow, can you believe I might be director of the C.I.A.? Seriously, my Mom doesn’t even believe me yet. This is so cool.”
Goss, who is being handled via the services of a temp service, is still waiting confirmation.
